Red Right! is a photo book about cyclocross racing right here in the Mid-Atlantic, featuring 80 pages of photos along with an introduction by In The Crosshairs’ Bill Schieken. Red Right! details the highs, the lows, the festivities, and the fun of racing what is essentially a road bike with knobby tires in the dirt.

Yeah, I know. I missed Hyattsville. I had other obligations that took me out of the area that weekend. Honestly I have enough pics from the races I DID shoot to fill up three books. So know this, my fine cyclocross friends, you will be getting the best of the best pictures in this book! It’s been unbelievably hard to edit all the shots I’ve taken down to 80 pages worth.

This project began when I kept getting told by my teammates and other racers “you should do a book.” Up until now, the only “book” I have published was a portfolio that I gave to photo editors as I tried to get work from them. The more people asked, the more I thought about it and the more I took it seriously. Having already self-published a portfolio, I had experience with editing and layout design. Blurb makes it pretty darn easy and affordable. It made sense for me to do it, so here it is. My very best pictures from my favorite discipline of cycling, cyclocross. I hope you enjoy it.
